TB’s Pick: Cincinnati Reds (vs. Boston Red Sox)

Here we go, the final day of the June Juice, and I need to make up some serious ground.

Caz is a Sox fan, so I know he’s not going to copy my pick here. I’m going 5x on the Reds, which pays out $4,020, it’s fate.

Cincinnati’s rookie Rhett Lowder Burns is the real deal. He looked sharp in his MLB debut, striking out batters at a high clip before hitting a bit of a wall and getting pulled. The stuff is there.

Boston ranks third in strikeouts per game this season, and that’s a matchup I want to exploit. This is definitely a long shot play, but I still think there’s value. I’m swinging big to try and lock in the win.

Let’s get some early Cincy runs on the board and watch Burns carve up this Sox lineup.

Caz’s Pick: Boston Red Sox (vs. Cincinnati Reds)

Odds: BOS @ -180
Wager Placed: 3x $500
Liquidation: +135 | To Win: $840

Why the Red Sox Are Poised to Win Tonight vs. the Reds

The Red Sox are set to host the Reds at Fenway in a matchup that gives Boston a clear edge — from the mound to the batter’s box.

Garrett Crochet = Ace Mode

Garrett Crochet has emerged as one of the most dominant arms in baseball. He enters tonight’s game with a 2.06 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and a nasty 37% strikeout rate. His slider is generating a 44% whiff rate, and he's racked up double-digit K’s in three of his last four starts.

He’ll face a Reds lineup that ranks bottom-5 in OBP and strikes out nearly 26% of the time vs. lefties — a dream setup for Crochet to go deep and deal.

Fenway Power Surge

Boston leads the league in doubles (159) and remains top-10 in slugging. Jarren Duran has become the spark at the top of the lineup, while the supporting cast continues to create pressure with speed and contact. Against a raw rookie starter like Chase Burns — who walked three and gave up four runs in his MLB debut — the Red Sox have a clear advantage early.

Boston’s ace has the momentum, and the lineup is built to capitalize on mistakes. If they give Crochet even minimal run support, the Sox should control this game from start to finish.
